New York Homes Sink on Swampy Soil

Hundreds of homes in the Buffalo suburb of Amherst are literally sinking. Foundations are cracking and pipes are breaking because the houses were built on unsuitable soil. The houses in western New York are part of a national problem of sinking houses. Joyce Kryszak reports from member station WBFO.
