NPR's Julie McCarthy in Jerusalem reports on Israeli views of the ongoing political crisis in the Palestinian territories. Opinions are mixed. Some Israeli commentators say the unrest bears out Ariel Sharon's contention that there is no negotiating partner for Israel among the Palestinians. Others warn that the collapse of the Palestinian Authority would have grave repercussions for Israel.
