Slave Laborers Under Nazis to Get $401 Million

More than 130,000 Holocaust survivors who were slave laborers under the Nazis will receive compensation checks beginning this week. Each survivor will get about $3,000 as part of a $401 million settlement between German companies and Jews forced to work for them during World War II. NPR's Phillip Davis reports.
