The 2004 UNITY Journalists Convention in Washington D.C. provided the presidential candidates with a unique platform. Friday, President Bush spelled out his committment to minority communities at the gathering, attended by thousands of journalists of color. Democratic nominee Sen. John Kerry addressed the group Thursday. NPR's Allison Keyes reports.
