TiVo Wins FCC Battle over Digital Recording

TiVo wins FCC permission for a new service that allows customers to digitally record a TV show and forward it to as many as nine friends. The FCC has authority over the consumer electronics device because TiVo utilizes new government-regulated bandwidth devoted to digital television programming. NPR's Neda Ulaby reports.
