Salon.com writer Phillip Robertson spent three days in the shrine of the Imam Ali in Najaf, at the center of fierce fighting between U.S.-led forces and Muqtada al-Sadr's militia. Robertson talks to NPR's Alex Chadwick about risking his life to get inside the shrine.
