Last Wednesday, Paul Hamm became the first U.S. gymnast to win gold in the men's all-around competition. Shortly after the event, South Koreans filed a protest saying their bronze medal winner was unfairly scored in the parallel bar routine. The International Gymnastics Federation acknowledged the scoring mistake, but the issue has not yet been resolved.
