U.S. May Waver on Israel Expanding Settlements

The Bush administration says it remains committed to longstanding U.S. policy that Israel must freeze all settlement activity in the occupied territories. But the administration declined Monday to contradict news reports that the United States will go along with Israeli expansion of existing settlements. NPR's Vicky O'Hara reports.
