Peace Deal Quiets Gun Battles in Najaf

Militiamen loyal to radical Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr leave the Imam Ali shrine in Najaf, honoring a peace agreement brokered by Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani. U.S. troops are still deployed in Najaf, but are expected to pull out soon under the terms of the deal reached Thursday. NPR's Ivan Watson reports.
