Denied a Visa, Scholar Won't Teach at Notre Dame
Agreeing to a request from the Homeland Security Department, the State Department refuses to issue a visa to a Muslim European professor hired by Notre Dame. Swiss citizen Tariq Ramadan was to lead research on religion, conflict and peace building at the university. NPR's Cheryl Corley reports.
