For decades, the black African farmers of western Sudan were in conflict with Arab tribesmen over grazing and farming rights. Those tensions erupted 18 months ago. The result: over 1 million displaced, tens of thousands dead, and a humanitarian crisis. NPR's Jason Beaubien reports.
