Covering the GOP Convention: Wires, and Cable TV

Media coverage of the Republican National Convention continues the technical innovations that were seen when Democrats met in July. Both gatherings have included "convention jockeys" and minimal broadcast television coverage, while cable outlets and public television are offering fuller coverage.
