Young Writers in Queens: 'I Am a Pencil'

NPR's Melissa Block talks with Sam Swope, author of I Am a Pencil, a book based on his work with students from 21 countries on creative writing projects. It started as a 10-day writing workshop with Queens third graders and became a three-year project.
