Ichiro Suzuki Closes In on All-Time Singles Record

Ichiro Suzuki of the Seattle Mariners is 23 hits shy of setting a new major league record for the number of hits in a single season. The current record has stood since 1920, when George Sisler of the St. Louis Browns posted 257 hits for the season. NPR's Wendy Kaufman reports.
