Satire in theater has been around since the days of Aristophanes, but it is not easy to do in the current political climate. Playwrights have to battle both the timeliness factor when dealing with fast-moving events, and potential backlash when commenting on controversial issues. Charlene Scott of member station WFCR in Amherst, Mass. reports.
