West Virginia is a small state that usually votes Democratic in presidential elections. But it didn't in 2000, when it could have delivered the presidency to former Vice President Al Gore. Sen. John Kerry has the issues of the economy and trade behind him. But President Bush's views on abortion and guns appeal to the state's social conservatives. NPR's Brian Naylor reports.
