Stravinsky

Audio for this story from Performance Today is not available.

The Suite from the ballet Pulcinella by Stravinsky is the trombonists' favorite. They get to slide away to their hearts' content in the middle movement. You'll hear those trombone slides in their natural habitat as the Bellingham Festival Orchestra plays the Pulcinella Suite by Stravinsky. They're in Bellingham, Washington, conducted by Michael Palmer.
