U.S.-Led Offensive Aims to Reclaim Samarra

More than 80 people are reported killed and dozens more are wounded as U.S. and Iraqi forces launch a joint attack on insurgents in Samarra. The offensive is part of an effort to establish an Iraqi police presence in the city before the January elections. Hear NPR's Emily Harris.
