SpaceShipOne's Second Flight a Success
NPR's Alex Chadwick talks to Day to Day technology correspondent Xeni Jardin about the second flight of SpaceShipOne, the first commercially sponsored spacecraft. With the success of the second flight high above the Mojave Desert in California, SpaceShipOne appears to have won the $10-million Ansari X-prize, a global competition to build the first viable commercial spaceship.
