NPR's Alex Chadwick talks with Slate legal analyst Dahlia Lithwick about the news that U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquist is being treated for thyroid cancer. The news of Rehnquist's illness could affect the presidential election by reminding voters the next resident of the Oval Office will nominate replacements for any outgoing justice.
