NPR's Scott Simon remembers baritone Robert Merrill, who performed on the stage of the Metropolitan Opera more than 500 times. One of his less known performances, however, was of the Brooklyn Baseball Cantata, which imagines a Dodgers' victory over the Yankees. We hear excerpts.
