North Korea Defector Gets 30-Day Sentence

Charles Jenkins, the U.S. Army sergeant who defected to North Korea in 1965, is sentenced to 30 days in jail. His lawyer argued that he had suffered enough, having spent 40 years in confinement in North Korea. Hear NPR's Melissa Block and James Brooke of the New York Times.
