The Aaron Copland Interview

     

    In November 1980, composer Aaron Copland sat down with the late NPR host and producer Fred Calland (left) for a wide-ranging interview. NPR's Performance Today celebrates the composer's birthday (Nov. 14) with a week-long presentation of the interview accompanied by Copland's music.
