NPR's Alex Chadwick talks with Afghan human rights activist Habib Rahiab about the recent elections in Afghanistan and his hopes for a safe nation free of warlords and political corruption. Rahiab was forced to flee the country because of his work documenting human rights abuses and advocating that afghan warlords be held responsible for war crimes. He recently received the highest award from Human Rights Watch, and is currently a human rights fellow at Harvard Law School, where he studies transitional justice.
