New York Public Library Icons Get Makeover

The two stone lions that guard the New York Public Library, known as Patience and Fortitude, are being cleaned up by conservation specialists. The lions have presided for nearly 10 decades over the library's Fifth Avenue entrance. NPR's Robert Smith reports.
