A jailed Palestinian leader has decided to contest next January's presidential election in the West Bank and Gaza. Marwan Barghouti, a Palestinian legislator and a key leader of the Palestinian uprising, is serving consecutive life sentences in an Israeli prison for murders he insists he did not commit. NPR's Linda Gradstein reports.
