Commentator Bailey White tells her annual Thanksgiving Day story. This year it is about a couple married 33 years who find themselves separated when the husband says the marriage "felt like a snake around his neck." As Christmas approaches, the wife and an aunt dispose of a rat far from town and find the husband cavorting with a younger lady. A mild form of revenge ensues.
