It's time again for our annual broadcast of highlights from the IgNobel Awards ceremony. This year, the awards feature the invention of the combover, whether the "five-second rule" really keeps dropped food clean, the physics of hula hooping, and a peace prize to the inventor of karaoke. NPR's Ira Flatow takes a look at science that cannot — or should not — be reproduced.
