Creating Literature in Native Languages

NPR's Noah Adams talks with Kenyan writer Ngugi wa Thiong'o about the importance of creating literature in small languages in order to preserve world cultures. Thiong'o is director of the International Center for Writing and Translation at the University of California at Irvine.
