Renowned opera singer Renata Tebaldi died Sunday at her home in Italy. Tebaldi, one of the great Italian operatic sopranos of the 20th century, was 82. Patrick Smith, former editor of Opera News, says the sound of her voice was like "pouring cream." Hear NPR's Jennifer Ludden.
