In Sri Lanka, devastated by the tsunamis, it is a time for funerals. Sri Lankan Buddhists traditionally hold funerals in their homes but because so many homes were destroyed, the ceremonies are being held in gathering places such as youth centers. NPR's Jason Beaubien reports.
