Bates Proves Exception to SAT Admissions Rule
Most of the time, getting into college means taking the SAT and submitting one's score. But for 20 years one school, Bates College in Maine, has made SATs optional on its application. Commentator and Bates Vice President William Hiss says the policy has made the school stronger.
