Seven U.S. soldiers die in a roadside bombing attack northwest of Baghdad. In separate attacks, two Marines are killed west of the capital. The attacks occurred a day after a U.S. commander insisted things were getting better in the capital. NPR's Lourdes Garcia-Navarro talks with NPR's Renee Montagne.
