Elizabeth Blair reports that the desire to provide relief to the victims of the tsunami extends to musicians and performers. Celebrities can use their fame to hold benefits that pull in a flood of donations but they may not be as effective in managing those donations to do the most good. How does the philanthropic community view these celebrity attempts to do good?
