Felipe Rose is a founding member of the band The Village People. (He played the American Indian). This week, he donated his Gold Record for the hit song "Y.M.C.A." to the Smithsonian Institution's Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C. Rose tells NPR's Scott Simon the song was written in 10 minutes on a lunch break.
