The most prestigious awards in children's publishing are announced, with Kira-Kira by Cynthia Kadohata winning the Newbery Medal and Kitten's First Full Moon by Kevin Henkes winning the Caldecott. NPR's Michele Norris talks with Terri Schmitz of the Children's Book Shop in Brookline, Mass.
