Lindbergh Spectator Describes Take-off

In 1927, Charles Lindbergh completed his groundbreaking flight from New York to Paris. Thousands were present at the historic landing of the Spirit of St Louis. But Isabel Haynes, then 12 years old, recounts being one of the very few that watched Lindbergh's takeoff. This story was originally broadcast on March 20, 1995.
