Earlier this week we told you Costco had added Picassos to its lineup of beds, detergent and vitamins. The discount giant says one work of art sold Wednesday. The Picasso described as a "doodle" was offered on the Web site for $39,999.99 — at a mark up of only 10 percent, much lower than classier purveyors of fine art. But like Sotheby's and Christies, Costco will not reveal the name of the buyer.
