Rep. James Sensenbrenner (R-WI), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, is known as a maverick for his willingness to oppose the Bush administration. Sensenbrenner's strict approach to following committee rules has led to praise from Democrats on the committee, while his political agenda generally has the support of fellow Republicans.
