The corporate fraud trial of Richard Scrushy begins Tuesday in Birmingham, Ala. The former CEO of Healthsouth is accused of inflating the company's earnings by more than $2.5 billion. Scrushy is the first CEO tried under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, which required him to certify the company's financial statements.
