Traditional Chinese Music

Audio will be available later today.

Continuing our week of exploring connections between traditional music and classical music, we look at Chinese influences in Western classical music today. From the Shanghai Quartet's recording called "Chinasong," we hear "Reflection of the Moon in the Er-Chuan Spring." Fred talks with a member of the quartet, Yi-Wen Jian, who arranged this music for quartet.
