Columnist Gallagher Received Payments from Health Department

The Washington Post reports that conservative columnist Maggie Gallagher received $21,500 under the terms of a 2002 contract that required her to act as an expert adviser to the Department of Health and Human Services on the benefits of marriage. Gallagher has appeared in the media in support of the administration's policies.
