An investigation continues into the cause of a helicopter crash that killed 31 U.S. personnel in Iraq. Six other servicemen died in combat. Violence in Iraq is on the rise, as insurgents bent on disrupting the Jan. 30 election staged a string of suicide bombings, killing more than a dozen Iraqis.
