Montana Weighs Increasing Taxes on Big Box Stores

A bill before the Montana legislature would tax retail businesses on gross receipts in excess of $20 million, unless they pay their employees at least $22,000 a year. The measure is aimed at "big box" retailers such as Wal-Mart and Costco.
