On Patrol for Red Roses in Riyadh

This Valentines' Day, Saudi Arabia's morals police are on high alert. There, a rose isn't just a rose if it could possibly give off the sweet smell of romance. The Kingdom's powerful Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice has banned red roses from being sold around Fe. 14, on the chance they'll be used to promote love. One florist in Riyadh reports the morals police have been checking daily to insure he has no red roses on display.
