Amid all the Oscar buzz, there's been a lot of talk about the increase in African-American nominees. Does such recognition signal a shift for blacks working in television and film? NPR's Ed Gordon explores the topic with two distinguished black filmmakers, Bill Duke and Ernest Dickerson.
