Dave Davies is currently senior writer for the Philadelphia Daily News, where he has worked since 1990 covering government and politics.
Before joining the Daily News, Dave was city hall bureau chief for KYW News Radio, and city hall correspondent for WHYY-FM. He has also edited a community newspaper in Philadelphia and has worked as a teacher, a cab driver and a welder.
Born and raised in Texas, Dave graduated from the University of Texas in 1975. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife and their two children.
