In a last ditch effort to sink the bankruptcy bill, House Democrats are turning to an old strategy: They've attached an amendment that would prevent anti-abortion activists from declaring bankruptcy to avoid paying court order damages. Often those damages are a consequence of advocating violence. But Republicans are in a good position to defeat the amendment.
