Health Insurance for College Students: Burden or Blessing?
Could mandatory health insurance keep more college students from dropping out, or just add to their college bills? Tamara Keith of member station WOSU in Columbus, Ohio, reports on the debate over requiring college students to have health insurance. Some public universities believe the policy might prevent students from having to quit school because of medical bills -- but critics say the coverage would be too expensive and add to an growing burden students face paying rising tuitions.
