Slate ad critic Seth Stevenson gives his assessment of the "Truth" anti-smoking ad campaign aimed at young viewers. Instead of emphasizing the health risks of smoking, the ads portray smoking as giving in to corporate deception by the tobacco industry -- a strategy that seems to be more effective than other methods.
